IT is MY GOTCHA DAY! Well it was, YESTERDAY but we are sad about T-Man so we only did a little celebrating today.


I got that GREAT card in the email from Rocky and Angel Lacy. THANK YOU GUYS!!!




We got COOKIES. These are cookies just like Joey sent to his girlfriend SOPHIE. I wanted to eat a CAT! SOrry to all those CATS that read this blog but I wanted to EAT YOU. LOLOLOL!!!

What a day

So we are pretty sad about T-Man so we postponed Tanner's Gotcha Day celebration until tomorrow. ALSO we are REALLY sad about the storm that hit Arizona last night. We had a HURRICANE STRENGTH storm in the freakin DESERT!?!?!?!




Here I am, the SMART dog, hiding in the bathroom.




It was SOOO scary!! I am sure you are thinking Mom is mean by filming me instead of holding me and telling me it will be ok. WELL, when I get like this you cannot touch me or hold me because I get even MORE upset and then run away.




Look at that Doofus!! He is sitting there with Dad watching the evil scary storm!!

The lightning was like nothing Mom or Dad had ever seen. It was non-stop for an hour. No thunder, just insane non stop lightning. I was NOT amused. Anytime it is raining SIDEWAYS, trees are falling down and garbage cans are blowing down the street I will be in the bathroom. We are so glad we didn't lose power, over 100,000 people did. It is amazing the amount of trees that broke and cars that were crushed. Power poles are down all over and ASU lost an 8.9 million dollar facility. This is the desert, I want a refund, we are not supposed to have HURRICANES!!

Sad News

Our dear friend T-Man has passed over the Rainbow Bridge. His poor little heart couldn't handle the surgery he had to remove a peach pit from his intestines.


We will miss you T-man.

Sooo tired

We are very tired after the trip with Ruby and Mom is tired from a busy week.

A lot of you enjoyed the pics of Tanner back when he was a little skinny guy, so in honor of his Gotcha day tomorrow, I thought I would be NICE and post some more!!

Today is a special day, it is the one year anniversary of the maiden voyage of Aire Ruby. So we are off to celebrate!


While we are gone, take a second to visit a couple of our blog friends who are new.

There is Bobo who is a boston terrier.

There is also The Brown Dog Blog which is a friend of Mom's and she once had the coolest little Boston Terrier named Cornholio who went over the Rainbow Bridge. TANNER TUESDAY!

Number ONE: Our friend GUS is HOME and he had a lump removed kinda like when I did and had a big ouchy...Click on his name and go over there and tell him GET BETTER. I looked like this with my ouchy...



TWO: Wife Lillie doesn't like me being a PIMP so I am done with that OK. (don't worry I kept that SWEET necklace though)

Lillie's HUMAN pup is going to have a birthday right when I have a birthday TOO, isn't that the coolerest?!?!!

Joey is still a BIG BABY and hides in that bathroom during storms. I was OUTSIDE with Mom during that storm and she was reading some Book and I was barking at that Thunder trying to tell it to GO AWAY so Joey would get out of that bathroom!

This is a SNEEK PREEVIEW! We got this book in the mail...its about your HUMANS figuring out what kind of DOG they really are?! The lady who made that Book wanted US to try it and see if we liked it.




WHATSUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPPP LORI, we totally got the book and we are going to make Mom and Dad see what kind of dog they are THIS WEEK. OK? If we think this book is fun then she said she will send us some to give away like a CONTEREST!!!! OMDOG that sounds fun. I think we should play GUESS HOW MANY HAIRS JOEY HAS ON HIS BELLY. Cuz its like 5, trust me dudes. Its fu uhm freakin hilarious!

I was seriously unhappy with the outfit choice Tanner made but then he totally redeemed himself.




He was laying in the rays of the Aerogarden when he said, I think the Steelers would have the besterest [sic] luck if we got a treat!!

Steelers are on TODAY!

The Steelers are on TV today at 5pm Pacific time, that is in less than TWO HOURS. I haven't seen my Steelers since LAST season so I am REALLY excited!! Since I have to be nice to Tanner all weekend I told him he can pick what we wear today for the game.




What a BAD idea that was!! Oh geez... Here I go...




Argh. Mom said try to look a little less grumpy...

Freaky Friday

Mom said I have to be nice to Tanner ALL weekend after that post. Well, it was worth it :) Dad is gone until Sunday in San Francisco, without us. It is our uncle's bachelor party weekend. They are going to ride on a trolley all over town and drink beers, go to restaurants and maybe even go to a baseball game. I am still not sure where my invitation got lost but I guess it is ok if I stay home and protect Mom and Tanner. Also, the STEELERS!!!! are on TV tomorrow so I have to be here for that.

I also have to be here to keep an eye on this thing...




WTF is that?!

Mom said it is an "Aerogarden" and it grows herbs without dirt or sunshine. She just set it up on Wednesday night and it is already sprouting plants. I think it must use laser beams or something from space to work that fast!!




You just stick these pods in it...




Stick these little domes over them and fill the thing up with water and these special nutrients tabs they give you. Then you get herbs that are able to be harvested within 28 days!! Can you believe that??

She had to set it up in Dad's room with his drums and CDs and boy stuff cuz the kitchen is too hot and Mom was worried about US eating the herbs. Whatever, its not like its growing French Fries.

Long time listener, first time caller...

We have a friend Vickie that always reads our blog, and has been following our adventures since back in the day when I posted in a Boston Terrier community. Emphasis on I, this was before Tanner.

ANYWAY

She pointed out that the Doofus seemed to have little doofus boobs in one of our pics. So she added a little, uh, enhancement...


The funny thing is a couple of other dogs commented on this same thing yesterday. Mom never really noticed it, I guess its like you wouldn't notice if your own kid was really kind of ugly.

WELL Vickie at least allowed the Doofus to cover up with some dignity...

Getting to know you...

So we are postponing the debut of the movie until tomorrow, because Tanner wants to share it on Tanner Tuesday.

I have had some questions about how old I am lately, and how old the Doofus is. I realized we have a lot of new readers out there who may not be so familiar with our story. I would like to take this opportunity to address all the new friends and maybe some with failing memories. :)





I am 9 years old and as you can see in the pic above, I am very handsome. I will be 10 in March. For the longest time my parents were unsure of my exact birthdate so I celebrated March 6th-9th as "Joey-Palooza". Four days of non-stop birthday excitement. Just a few month's ago they found my puppy paperwork (it was buried at my Dad's parent's house in a sea of papers) and saw that I was born on March 6th. However, as Joey-Palooza is a much loved holiday, we will continue to celebrate it.

I was an only dog, loving life and enjoying being the center of attention, until August 29th 2005. That is when we got Tanner.


That is one of the first pictures of us together.

Tanner came from a pound in Ohio. My Dad's aunt does a lot of work for them and she called one day and was all, OMDOG there is this cute Boston here do you want him? My parents said YES. Can you freakin believe it? If I could turn back time I would have ate the phone. all the phones. the phone line. the telephone pole. ANYTHING. But he is here now so I just have to deal with him, I guess. He is 4 years old (maybe 3, his intake papers have different dates) but he acts like he is 4 months. His nickname is The Doofus Face.

Our nice aunt Patty drove the doofus all the way to AZ (which is where we live) from Ohio. What a nice aunt. I guess. ahem.

We are very easy to tell apart. I am the handsome one and he is the Doofus. He is also fat. BUT if you still have a problem, he has a dot on his head. The Doofus Dot.
