its all about FOOD

Today we are blogging about another one of our most favorite things ever, FOOD.

The first thing we would like to talk about is in honor of our friend Wally. His favorite thing in the world to eat is Wallymelon. Well Mom found this Article about Wallymelon being prepared like a steak!!!

watermelonsteak1
Wally, do you SEE that?! The article says, "You cut the watermelon into slices (removing the rind) and cook it in a roasting pan (350 degrees) with sherry, butter, and salt and pepper."

So since I don't see Mom making us that anytime soon I bugged her to make us something good for lunch, so she gathered some ingredients. Aunt Patty left us a bunch of packets of that wet food when she was here and Mom almost always forgets she has them, silly woman.

into the cuisinart it goes
We don't like the (m)apples by themselves so Mom has to put them in the food murderer with other stuff or we won't eat them. So she added that wet food package and some wheat germ so that Tanner's broken butt gets his required fiber.

dog mash
The food murderer did its thing and we ended up with that!

dog food
Mom put down a layer of kibble (canidae chicken and rice) a layer of the mapplechickenwheat mash and some DRIED CRANBERRIES. These are my absolute favorite dried fruitable, as wally would say.

joey loves it
DELICIOUS! kudos to the chef!

Joe,
What a great Mom you have to make you all that. Actually it looks really good. We love apples all by themselves though. But glad she cans sort of sneak them by
into some great doggie concoction!

What an excellent lunch. I'll only eat Appleables if they're murdered & put into liver. I love those little packets with the meaty goodness inside!

your hoomans are such gourmet hounds. they SERIOUSLY need to start a foodnetwork show featuring super-pawesome nutritious canine cuisine. it would be the tv hit of the century.

they would make a fortune, and you could all retire to your favorite outdoorsy spot (mountains? dessert? ocean?)and just play for the rest of your lives!

and we will all say, "hey - i knew them when they were just regular joe and tanner."

a fan for life, coco

Hey Joe, I eat canidae too. And the woman gives me other stuff with it. I ate a whole apple once and the woman got all bent out of shape because the seeds are supposed to be bad or some such crap. I think she was really mad because it was her last apple. I get raw eggs and yogurt and cottage cheese and dog food roll and stuff in my Canidae. If she tries to give it to me straight now, I look at her like Hey! This is only a partial meal!
