What a great weekend!

We had a super great weekend, the weather was great, like in the mid 80s in the daytime! In the summer it is only in the mid 80's at 3am, so we were really enjoying ourselves!!

Mom finally gave us some of those AWESOME yogurt treats that Boy and Baby sent us for Tanner's birthday. We got TWO each and they were DELICIOUS! Mom even said they smelled good to her!

Thank you AGAIN boy and baby!!

YUM

We spent a lot of time investigating the yard.

Tanner did a LOT of sunning.

Mom said HI to that Bee, but wouldn't let me because she said they might bite me!!

I went off to explore some more when I found this...

THAT is a Pomegranate, and it grows in my yard. Now, you may know that we have a friend named Tadpole Pomegranate and that he lives with his awesome sister, Fig.

Well look at this...

That is a tree full of FIGS!!

How cool is that?!

Mom wanted to show that she used the awesome Boston Terrier mug she got from Tanner's wife Lillie.

We heard our week is going to be REAL exciting too because on Wednesday we are going to our Grandparent's house because our Dad is going in to have his wisdom teeth removed. He has to have real surgery because his teeth are lodged in his head, how gross is that?! Mom seems to think we might be a little too um caring (more like obnoxious -Mom) to be here right when he gets back from surgery so we are off to gram and gramps. We REALLY hope that our new cousin Jameson stops by so we can train her to start throwing food at us like you guys say she will!

Beeeeeees ... I eat bees. I karate chop bees. They sting, but I'm like Buffy the Vampire Slayer bionic dog star. Those bees don't stand a chance against my high kickin' action. Mind you, if you offered me one of those yogurt treats I wouldn't care about the bees.

We've never seen pomegranates growing on the tree before! Do you get to eat them? How about the figs? Mom has had fresh figs before when she lived in Louisiana and she says they're delicious!
Have fun at your grams while your dad gets his teeth extracted! Paws are crossed for him!

Love ya lots,
Maggie

Do you get to eat those pomegranates and figs? Are they good? I have never seen such things, let alone tasted them.
Your poor dad- I bet his mouth will be sore. My Human had a root canal (whatever that is) a couple of weeks ago and his mouth was sore for a couple of days.

N.mom is coming to live with you because her favorite things in the world are pomegranates and figs.

Do you and Tanner have room on your beds for her? She's not that tall at all.

smooches and good luck with your dad. Will he lose his wisdom with his teeth?

ooooh I would love to see a picture of your Dad with his teeth lodged in his head! Seriously, I really hope he does ok and is home, well and pain free real soon.

You are soooooooo lucky to have figs and pomegranites (sorry can't spell that word!) growing in your garden.

We can only buy them in the supermarket and they are always toooo cold 'cos they keep 'em in fridges over here. Bummer!

(I have learned a new word Bummer - so am making good use of it now!)

love and healing licks to your Pa

It's about time the weather started cooling off for you. Glad you're getting some good yard investigation and sunning in.

Very cool that you have essence of Tadpole AND essence of FIG right there in your own backyard. Wonder what they'd taste like together!

Goober smooches to your dad on the wisdom teeth thing. If he gets those taken out will that make him a doofus like Tanner?

Goober love,
