The Ballad of Joe Stains and Tanner
This is the ballad of Joe Stains and Tanner
Two Boston Terriers, both mad as hatters!
Every day they make us laugh with their stories,
The fun and the laughter, their triumphs, their glories!
Joe is the master of every dog stain known to man,
and Tanner, well he is just the Doofus, again, and again!
I love both these Doggies, for they are so cool,
They have such adventures and break every rule.
Long may they reign the Blog Airwaves each day,
Reading their funny adventures takes my cares away.
The Doofus can't type and Joe makes the stains
But all us Dog Bloggers wouldn't have it any other way!

Since some dogs actually LIKED Tanner's post, I have decided that he can post one day a week...so starting next week, tune in for TANNER TUESDAYS!!

Well Joe, no offense to Tanner, but I think I may skip "Tanner Tuesdays" until he matures a bit. Admittedly, a new viewpoint is welcome on occasion, but ....
Also, tell him how impolite it is to blog in capital letters all the time, please. He give me a headache.
So, don't let word of "Tanner Tuesdays" get to Teka please, or we will be having "Teka Thursdays" and who knows what all!
Scary thought for today: If we put Teka and Tanner in a room together, are they smart enough to breed?
And if Teka and Tanner breed, would the outcome be Tekner, Tanka, or Tenner?

marvin is truly a master poet. i tried to write a limerick but couldn't find a word to rhyme with "doofus." (goofus? poopus?)
and gus is right--tanner tuesdays might set a bad precedent. i don't want my sister blogging and letting out all my deep dark secrets! fortunately "ethel" doesn't alliterate (not actually a verb) with anything.

Well Joe, I think it is genius of you to do Tanner Tuesdays. You keep him from hacking you again and you get to edit and approve all of his entries before they get published. Very smart.

I think Tanner is staring at your butt because he realises (in his own sweet but dim way) it is something admirable. Perhaps he sees your Butt as something to aim at..........!
