omdog baseball

So yesterday the Yankees played the Angels in game 2 of the American League Championship Series. For those dogs who don't know about baseball, this is the series before the World Series, which if they win is like getting best in show or getting an entire steak AND a pizza all for yourself.

Normally, the games are 9 innings and are over in about 3 hours. WELL yesterday the game was over 5 hours and lasted 13 innings. It was crazy. Dad and I were so stressed and Dad was doing weird ninja moves and yelling...BUT the Yankees WON!!!

Today, Dad and I are pretty tired after all that yelling and stress.

I still have to be on guard duty, but I am definitely glad the Yankees didn't play today because I didn't have a lot of energy.

I did manage to strike a very sexy pose for my Sophie, but other than that, I just rested. Yankees play tomorrow so I am off to get some more sleep.

We are kind of relieved that there are no more Red Sox games to watch. Way too tiring, especially with all those extra innings. Almost as bad as cricket.

Sheeschech...I was JUST going to tell you how HOT you look Joey till I read that stoopid post you did on fit or fat and you made the HOOOOOOOOGE BEHIND comment...Now, I KNOW you musta been referring to Asta...and she's going to cry and get you into a ton of trouble...so I suggest you just send me a $500 credit to Sephora and we will totally forget we ever had this little discussion...heh heh heh...

If you were stressed with the Yankees, how did you do watchin' the dropsy debacle yesterday between the Browns...(YIK) and our Steeler Boyz??? Have ya ever seen such a wacky game? Stanley was beside himself and had to go outside in the fourth quarter to meditate...his tail was tucked...he just can't stand the peeps yellin'...what a wimp...

Tell Tanner that pic of him was obviously photoshopped to make him have more Tanner in his middle, cuz I know he's a firm muscle bound boy...

Kisses...Lacie

ooooh la la Joey. But you know, I really don't get that baseball. Why aren't all those players running after the ball together when someone hits it? I mean, what is the point of hitting that ball far if they don't all run to get it, and yell at each other while they do? and then bring it back to the guy with the bat so he can hit it again? It just doesn't make sense.

We just got home but we wanted to tell you how excited our humans were when the Yankess finally pulled out that game. Our pawrents were in the LA area with our human brother's family. Monday the human brother actually got to go to the game, but sadly we hear it did not have as good of an ending. But it was still an awesome game. Now on to game 3 with a Yankee win!!!

Woos, the OP Pack

You both look stressed. Yeah. Right. But we know pictures don't necessarily show the whole story. Factor in the wins and we get the whole picture. All that cheering must've taken every last ounce of energy outta ya! Are you geared up for the next games?

Jake and Fergs (and that little Boston that still sits in the same place on the mantel ... )
