Joe Stains 3/6/1999 - 5/31/2011

Joe Stains crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. He went peacefully at our wonderful Vet office wrapped in his New York Yankees blanket.

The pug that lived here before me, Stubby, went to the Bridge in January. He read your blog every day for years and he loved it. It cheered him up when he had the sickies, keeping him laughing all the time. Thank you for sharing Joe. He was awesome and will never be forgotten.

Oh no, I'm sooo very sorry! I know your pain as we just lost our Kona a few weeks ago.

There will be so many of his friends to meet him at the bridge. We know he is in good hands now and can be at peace.

Our friend MJ told us a couple years ago to check out her pawesome friend, Joe Stains. We did and loved him so much we read the blog right from the beginning.

We are so very sorry to read about the loss of your beautiful pup Joe Stains. We read about his loss on Khyra's blog and are very saddened by the news. We unfortunately never had the pleasure of knowing Joe Stains, but we would come across his Comments once in a while and woof and laugh at his funny remarks. Such a great pup!

I'm so sorry, my heart is broken for you all. I've loved reading about Joey and Tanner since I found them on Boston_Buddies years ago, and I always shared their adventures with my Charlie, who loved them too. Joey is truly a friend to all Boston and Boston lovers, and he will be missed terribly. I know he's making lots of stains and cheering on those Yankees from heaven. Keep celebrating Joey!!!

To Joey's Mom, Dad and Tanner-I am so sorry to read about your loss. I've read many of Joey's blogs over the years and was caught chuckling out loud many times! When you posted the picture of Joey walking with his Hero on his 12th birthday all I could think of was the song (this will cause the leaky eye) "You'll Never Walk Alone". Thank you Joey's Mom, your time spent keeping us up to date with the boys antics was not unnoticed. Thank you for sharing.

I just read about Joey's passing on The Mango & Dexter's bloggy. i am so sorry. i have read this blog every time you have put up a new post since I started blogging just a few years ago and you had me hooked from the first bloggy entry i read of yours. every time i see anything "Steelers" related or that guy with all the hair on the Steelers team i think of Joey.

I can't get over the shock that you have gone Joe!
It feels like just like a few weeks ago you shook my paws for the first time to welcome me to blogville and since then, you were my role model. You had the cool attitude that I wish I had ( to impress all ladies)
