More house stuff, sorry if we are boring!

So we don't have a lot going on other than getting the new house all set up, so I am sorry if we are boring. At least it is not Tanner posting!!

Tanner and I do some GREAT security work at the new house. He really has no idea what is going on but if I start barking, he shows up and barks with me.

We got another snuggle ball!! Mom and Dad kept having to drag the other one back and forth between the bedroom and our daytime prison area. So now I have a nice green one!

Also, Mom got this crazy thing. It is an owl sitting on a book. During the day it soaks up sunshine and at night does this...

Where does Mom find this goofy crap? She loves it though, so I guess it is ok. Actually for the first 30 minutes it was in the front yard Tanner and I barked at it like maniacs. Mom had to take Tanner outside to show him it was just a fake owl.

Finally, all this work around the house is very tiring. So we have to be fortified with some coffee. Mom drinks black coffee, Dad drinks things that she says are not really coffee but milkshakes with a dash of coffee.

Either way, they smell delicious. My Gram drinks these too and she ALWAYS lets me lick the caramel out of the lid.

Did you hear me Dad?? She ALWAYS lets me lick the lid...

Ahh, I have these people so well trained!!! I hope you all liked the house stuff, if not, sorry...that is all you will get for a while!! LOL

Joe,

We need to get lessons from you on training the apes because ours are so unruly. Otis drinks coffee, too, and our ape drinks hers black w/a splash of soy milk and he drinks from her cup if she sets it on the table! He's WEIRD. So is she. We need to train her to fetch those milkshake ones.

Not boring to us at all, Joey. We are jealous of your getting to lick that yummy cover. That weird owl thing is something else, but it must be a mom thing, because our Mom thinks it is pretty cool too.

Joe, I love your new house and especially the owl-thing.

My black and whites are similar in their security technique. Panda will bark (at nothing) and then Sadie will join in, because, well, why not?

Oh, and they also know the sound of the whipped cream can being opened and MUST have some each, so I totally get the whole licking the coffee cup top scenario.

Joe, our mum loved the owl thing - like your mom she is always finding these goofy things! We can't understand it ourselves but our garden is full of crap.
We love that you are both working together in terms of house security - so important - two dogs are always better than one in this regard.
We liked the video - you were very cute and funny!
Apologies Joe our mum just typed that! We know you don't want to be told you are cute.
If only our paws could type......

Tanner looks like a double wide in that first photo. I am surprised he can haul himself to the window to help with guard duty.

Your snuggle ball is very impressive. I hope that you get to keep it for yourself and that you know who doesn't contaminate it.

JOEY! I love the house stuff, especially when you are in it. You are so lucky to get frappe lids. I never get those because my mom doesn't drink those milkshake drinks either. Sometimes, I get to like out her peach yogurt container. That's pretty good. I go home tomorrow morning. I'll be happy to see mom, but see no real need to leave the country for that. Why doesn't she just come out here?

I gave TANNER an award on our blog today!!! Please stop by when you can!

Joey! Sorry I've been such a slacker. Your new digs look awesome. Is your Mom a wizard? That owl booklight is very Harry Potter. Better stain it promptly and show it who's boss. You're looking mighty lean and mean, my boy. Is Tanner eating all your grub? He's HOOGE. Like Mango/Lacie's Butt HOOGE. Don't let him squish you in your new snuggle ball.

Okay - back to the beach. In half an hour, I can be off leash down there, teaching young'uns how to play ball.

Your pal,

Petey

Hello Joe (and Tanner so he doesn't get jealous). Fellow Boston here. I am a bit protective and will show any noises who is boss. My sister will give a slight "grff" at my urging and that is it. What a help she is. I have really been taking notes on your stains and have to give you a paw. I did a great one in the floor the other day that my dad called "lake Uron". Ha. Go and see our blog if you get the chance.
