Over the river and through the woods...

We thought we would take some photos of the drive to Gram and Gramps house since it probably looks a lot different than where most of my Dog friends live.

Here we are waiting for Mom, do you see me being a GOOD boy in the back seat where I belong?? Tanner is always trying to get into the front seat but it is not safe up there, so we have to ride in the back!

Look at that little menace trying to climb up there, and of course Mom had to go all pupperazzi on him. Point the camera OUT the window woman!!

That is more like it! That is Camelback mountain, just a few miles north of our house. Lots of humans and dogs like to hike it.

Here is a cactus and some pretty colored bushes.

More cacti! These guys are all over out here!

There are lots of resorts and golf courses on the way too.

It was a sunny and clear day here as usual and lots of humans were out chasing that little white ball around.

Finally we turn into Gram and Gramps' neighborhood. I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the desert landscaping we see all of the time here!! Tanner will post about our Easter fun on Tuesday!

Ahh.. cactus.. we have some mini ones over at our grandparent's place and I can decide if they are 'friend or foe' because I got pricked by them once when I went over to sniff 'Hi'..
Hope you scored loads of treats over at your gram's place!

We love seeing where your grandpinky lives. We think that's the best part of blogging. Checking out everyone elses part of the world.
We have lots of desert here in Oz but not near us.

Thanks for showing us your home.
Hope you had a good Easter.

We have never ever seen Cacti that huge!!!!!!!
We loved seeing the dessert landscape as it is so very different from Scotland. We also loved those big palm trees we could see in the gardens!
Bailey is always wanting in the front seat too - I sit nicely in the back! We have just got a guard for the car because Bailey keeps climbing over even when we are going fast on the motorway!

I can just see us running around those palm trees and climbing that mountain. And I would look gorgeous laying in those colourful gardens. And I would definitely stay in the back with you on the drive to G&G's. Do you think they would mind my shedding?

Hey, that mountain looks familiar -- I think we saw it from the Phoenix desert garden (I forget the actual name of the park) when we were out there for the World Horror Convention in 2004!

I think Momma should have lived in Arizona. That landscaping looks like she MIGHT be able to keep it alive. She kills everything she touches here!

Hope you two had a FAB Easter! Can't wait to hear all about it!

BEAUTIFUL scenery!!! I really like that!
Dad wanted to chase the little white ball around more than he did over the weekend, but we got lots and lots of rain. I think he's like me and doesn't like to get his feety-feet wet.

You're right. This doesn't look anything like what I see on my way to Grammy's house, and it sure is pretty. Have you guys ever hiked Camelback Mountain?

That is pretty. We have a lot of sand here, but we also get a lot of rain. Mom wishes we lived somewhere where grass wouldn't grow, because she hates mowing the lawn.

Backseats rule! We sleep non-stop. (OK. We're weird wires, but we love it.)

We have a question.... do you ever get pokey things in your paws when you are on your walks? Those are some big (and beautiful) cactus. The ones we have hide. And hurt.

We're thinking we need to come visit.... maybe we'll detour that direction on our summer trip to Florida. Yeah. That's an idea!

Gee we can't say anythin' about Tanner tryin' ta get up front in the car cause me 'n Mom do it all the time.....yep, we get right on Gram's lap and then we stand there til Gram gets mad....why don't we sit down??? Well, sometimes we do but fer some reason we like ta stand there so Gram has ta steady us when it gets bumpy or Pap goes around bends.....yep, that keeps old ladies on their feet fer sure....ya gotta help 'em stay alert at all costs....

Ummm I dont know why your human would say your too small to play with me! Im gentle! I swear! Im always up for a game of tag or bitey face!

If you're ever up for a good playin' just email the human. I will make sure she schedules some play time in!

Hi Joe! I enjoyed the tour very much. It's very pretty there. It's kind of like Florida except there's no clouds...and there's mountains...and cactus. I have to admit I always try to get up in the front, too.

See ya!

Hope you had loads of fun with Gran and Gramps!
