Weekend in the WOODS part Last!!

This is the last installer of WEEKEND in the WOODS with Tan Torkelson.

You have to see what that room was like when the SPACKLE was done ok?

WTF?? It looks like some kid went in there and just made a MESS on the walls??? Dad said they have to do something called PRY MER and then Paint. Hm is that MORE hard work we are going to have to go and do NEXT time we go??

That whole side needs that PAINT too but they can't decide what color white to paint it??? WTF?? WHITE IS WHITE RIGHT?? WRONG!? There are like eleventy billion different WHITES to pick from. I thought maybe Asta white, or Petey white or maybe Comet white but NO they have names like AGED PARCHMENT and some other crap. So it might be months before they choose a white paint. HUMANS ARE SO WEIRD!

ANYWAY...

Another thing those humans did was put in a new faucet... I just wanted to show it because Mom was so impressed with Dad that he did this all by himself...

OMDOG Mom its just a FAUCET its not like he cured the common cold. LOL

BUT...

My Dad IS pretty cool. Check us out on the deck at night TOTALLY making sure no Coyotes got Mom and Joey. That headlamp is so perfect for walking doggies at night and Mom ASSURES him he looks totally cool. LOLOLOL.

This was the video of our last walkies in Show Low...

Thanks for reading ALL about our Weekend in the Woods. We wish we were there right now cuz its like 115 degrees in Phoenix :( Joey will be back blogging now that I am finished with my PAWESOME reporting!!

That new room looks real nice with all those windows.
Watch you dad tough he may scare the neighbors with that forehead lamp (they may just jump off the cliff instead of waiting for their house to fall)

Or maybe a Dakota white - it might even change a bit in the winter:

Great work from the humans - we are very impressed.

Hope you get back there soon, it is just too hot where you are.

Oh, yeah. There are all kinds of whites. Our walls are Fog White. Very pleasant. Or is it White Fog? I can't remember. Mom chose it before I joined the family and became her Guide Dog for the Color Blind.

I'm sorry it's so hot in Phoenix. My friend Dan lives there, and his air conditioning went out last week! Yikes! For three days!

It looks like you guys did some good work out there!

Your dad looks totally cool. We are gonna show our dad that picture so he can get one of those extra eye thingies. That would be helpful at 5:30 in the morning when it is not time for the sun to get up yet.

Good job Tan's dad for putting in that faucet! My mom has one that looks just like it but she was too chicken to install it herself and had to hire a plumber who charged her lots of $ that could have been spent on dog toys.

Ooh, all those whites sound confusing. Maybe they should go with a nice hot pink (hee hee)

Wow your dad has a shining unicorn! That is pawesome! He's like a character out of the movies!

Hope your hoomans decide on which type of parchment color they want... Urgh... sounds just like the time when Momster wanted a pale yellow and AFTER daddy painted half the room she said... "Hmmm the shade doesn't look right... we have to change it!" Loony momster...!

Your dad is doing a great job! When he finishes there, maybe he can come work at our house. We need a plumber; can he do plumbing?

Hey, Motch noticed a starbucks cup by the beautiful new faucet. Did you get a sip of the coffee?

We liked the headlamp too - our mum thought your Dad looked like a miner - something from the olden days apparently!

Thanks for all the pictures and movies about your trip. Good to get to a cooler place. Your cabin reminds me of the place we go away from Denver to-- except ours is 1 big room that doesn't have fancy spackle and all that stuff. It does have a faucet and coyotes.
